Péter Korniss [ur. 1937, Kolozsvár].
Jest czlonkiem Wegierskiej Akademii Sztuki, Komitetu Doradczego „World Press Photo” oraz amerykanskiej Fundacji im. W. Eugene Smitha. Laureat wielu nagród m. in. Zasluzonego Artysty republiki Wegierskiej (1983), najwyzszej wegierskiej nagrody panstwowej im. Kossutha (1999), a takze “World Press Photo” (1983) i Josepha Pulitzera (2004). Jego fotografie publikowaly tak prestizowe tytuly, jak: „GeO”, „Fortune”, „Time”, „Avenue” czy „Epoca”, a prace pokazywane byly w muzeach i galeriach szesnastu krajów.

Péter Korniss [b. 1937, Kolozsvár].
He is a member of the Hungarian Academy of Art, a member of the advisory board of the World Press Photo Foundation, and a member of the International Advisory Committee of the W. Eugene Smith Grant (USA). Korniss is a winner of many awards, including the Balázs Béla Prize (1974), the “Artist of Merit” (1993), the National Kossuth Prize (1999), and the Pulitzer Memorial Prize (2004). His photographs were published in “GeO”, “Fortune,” “Time,” “Avenue,” and “Epoca” where they were shown at museums and galleries in sixteen countries.
