Kis-Kéry Anna képei mintha tudomást sem vennének a körülöttünk levő világról, nimfák és tündérek felhőtlen, ártatlan világába kalauzolnak bennünket. Költői képein mintha újra feltalálta volna a művész és a múzsa közötti intim kapcsolatot, miközben komoly kérdéseket vet fel a nőiesség túl gyakran közhelyes kortárs ábrázolásaival kapcsolatban.

Kis-Kéry Anna a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetem fotográfia szakán 2018-ban megszerzett BA diplomáját követően, 2021-ben végzett az egyetem fotográfia Mester szakán.

Elsősorban a nőiség kérdéskörével, a meztelenség és az akt mai társadalmunkban betöltött szerepével foglalkozik, ahol a festészet és fotográfia egymás közötti áthallásai elemi részét képzik munkáinak. Jelenlegi sorozatában a természet és a test párhuzamba állításán keresztül a naivitás és a nőiség még kiforratlan állapota kerül középpontba.

2021-ben felvételt nyert a Fiatal Fotóművészek Studiójába (FFS), majd 2022-ben elnyerte a Pécsi József Fotóművészeti Ösztöndíjat.

2020-ban részt vett a Kiscelli Múzeum Testkép – Akt a Kortárs Magyar Fotográfia című kiállításán, 2021-ben diplomasorozatának képei bemutatásra kerültek az XLVI Space Nexus című online és a Padovában megrendezett Photo Open Up fesztivál kiállításán.

Diplomamunkáját beválogatták az Art Thread – Global Design Graduate Show x Gucci 2021-es alkotásai közé, mely sorozatból megrendezte első önálló kiállítását a budapesti Q Contemporary Projekt Space-ben.

Szakadatlan Szépség című sorozata megjelent a párizsi Á PART magazin Isolé különkiadásában.

Jelenleg Budapesten él és dolgozik.

ANNA KIS-KÉRY

Presenting a carefree, innocent world of nymphs and fairies, Anna Kis-Kéry’s pictures seem oblivious to the world around us. It is as if her poetic images had reinvented the intimate relationship between artist and muse, while they raise serious questions about the contemporary representations of femininity, which are all too often clichéd.

Anna Kis-Kéry is a graduate of the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, receiving her BA in Photography in 2018 and her MA in 2021.

Her chief concerns are femininity and the role of nudity and the nude in contemporary society, with the intersections between painting and photography forming an integral part of her work. Her current series focuses on naivety and an immature stage of femininity, through the juxtaposition of nature and the human body.

In 2021 she was admitted into the Studio of Young Photographers (FFS), and in 2022 she won the Pécsi József Photography Scholarship.

In 2020, she participated in Kiscell Museum’s exhibition, Body Image – The Nude in Contemporary Hungarian Photography, and in 2021 her diploma series was presented at XLVI Space’s online show, Nexus, and at the Photo Open Up festival in Padua.

Her diploma piece was selected for Arts Thread’s 2021 Global Design Graduate Show x Gucci, and the same series was used for her first solo exhibition at Q Contemporary’s Project Space in Budapest.

Her series Perpetual Beauty was published in Isolé, a special issue of the Paris magazine Á PART.

She currently lives and works in Budapest.
