A modell és fotográfus bensőséges kapcsolatába vonják be a nézőt Ladocsi András közeli felvétel-technikával készült portréi. A tekintet, az arc, annak finom mozgásai, a mozdulatok, a test gesztusai gyakran alkalmazott témái a Londonban élő fiatal alkotónak.

Ladocsi András a Moholy-Nagy Művészeti Egyetemen tanult fotográfiát, jelenleg a Royal College of Art, London egyetem mester hallgatója.

Elsősorban az emberi kapcsolatok, az énkép, közösség, mozgás és gondoskodás érdekli a fotográfia klasszikus keretein belül.

2020-ban megnyerte a Hyères Festival American Vintage Photography Prize díjat, 2021–2022-ben Frank Oceannel dolgozott a Homer ékszermárka vizuális megjelenésén. 2023-ban jelölték a Dior Photography And Visual Arts Award For Young Talents díjra és a PhMuseum 2023 Photography Grant díjra.

Publikált többek között a British Journal of Photography, Purple, Another, Dazed Magazinokban.

Jelenleg Párizsban él és dolgozik.

ANDRÁS LADOCSI

András Ladocsi’s close-up portraits also let the viewer in on the intimate relationship between model and photographer. The gaze, the face, subtle changes of expression, movements, the gestures of the body, are some of the favourite themes of the young London-based artist.

András Ladocsi studied photography at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, and is currently studying for a master’s degree at the Royal College of Art, London.

Working within the classical limits of photography, he is primarily interested in human relationships, self-images, communities, movement and care.

In 2020 he won the American Vintage Photography Prize at the Hyères Festival, and in 2021–2022, he worked with Frank Ocean on the visual identity of the Homer jewellery brand. In 2023 he was nominated for the Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award for Young Talents and for PhMuseum’s 2023 Photography Grant.

Among other organs, he has been published in the British Journal of Photography, Purple, Another and Dazed magazine.

He currently lives and works in Paris.
