ProjectLab Gallery

The foundation of ProjectLab’s identity is a rigorous curatorial selection: our exhibitions are more than mere displays—they are deliberately constructed professional statements that place project-based thinking at the forefront. Our program pairs visual experimentation with insightful social reflection and a progressive approach that expands the boundaries of the medium. Our mission is to promote international transparency and to channel global artistic dialogues into the domestic sphere. We present artists and projects that have already proven themselves in significant professional forums, yet, due to their experimental nature or specific scale, require the focused and discerning environment offered by ProjectLab.

While ProjectLab’s physical capacity may be limited, its intellectual reach extends far beyond its spatial boundaries: operating in the heart of Mai Manó House, it functions as a concentrated intellectual hub. We define our institution’s position not merely as a static exhibition space, but as an active catalyst for professional discourse and strategic collaborations. We are committed to fostering collective thinking while continuously exploring the aesthetic complexity of photography and the progressive future possibilities inherent in the medium. Through this hybrid approach—at the intersection of historical context and contemporary experimentation—we aim to serve as a relevant source of inspiration for both the profession and the public alike.
